As a
NOC Engineer
, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and performance of the client's international network.
This position is suited for professionals with extensive experience in VoIP, SBCs, and carrier-grade environments who are ready to step into a technically demanding and fast-paced role.
Job Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and support live traffic across voice, SMS, FoIP, and SIP trunking services.
- Respond to and manage Tier 1 tickets and escalate as necessary while maintaining SLA standards.
- Configure and update routing on softswitches and SBCs based on traffic analysis and partner interconnects.
- Perform interconnection setup and testing with new global carrier partners.
- Analyze call traffic trends and proactively identify potential network issues or quality concerns.
- Coordinate with internal teams and international NOCs to ensure seamless resolution of issues.
- Support internal service requests and provide technical assistance to Account Managers.
- Conduct route testing and validation for new services such as DID, UIFN, ITFS, etc.
- Participate in documenting incidents, operational procedures, and network configurations.
- Handle other network-related tasks as assigned by the management or client.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications Engineering, or related fields.
- At least
3 years of experience
in VoIP operations, telecom carrier environments, or NOC support roles.
- Strong understanding of
SIP, RTP, softswitch operations, and SBC configurations
.
- Familiarity with traffic monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, Cacti, Zabbix).
- Strong communication and coordination skills; fluent in written and spoken English.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a global technical support team.
- Willing to work
onsite
in Ortigas Center, Pasig on a
rotating shift schedule
.
- Knowledge of telecom infrastructure, SS7, or interconnect provisioning is a plus.
