Purpose

The Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager or MIS Manager is responsible for improving existing Operations and operationalizing the new service portfolio to achieve service excellence, operational efficiency, business profitability, and retention of customers.

Responsibilities (Duties)

  • Accomplish all assigned tasks by the management in a timely and effective manner as deemed necessary for the organization's betterment.

  • Ensure Operations supports the organization in any of its business engagements however and whenever necessary in accordance to agreed policies and procedures.

  • Ensure Service Operations is available and functioning in accordance with commitments and acceptable standards.

  • Assist in budget review on costs associated with running Operations.

  • Ensure that all Service Operations’ resources required to provide services are being monitored and managed and are functioning in optimal condition.

  • Promote effective and efficient processes and ensure compliance with standards is followed.

  • Ensure proper escalation protocols are in place and complied.

  • Institutionalize metrics for performance management as a key indicator for continuous improvement.

  • Overall responsible for ensuring that Operations has the optimum organizational structure to support MICTS’ customers effectively and efficiently.

  • Overall responsible for ensuring appropriate skillsets and continuous developmental growth for the Service Operations personnel.

  • Conduct performance review of direct reports.

  • Achieve the highest possible service availability and customer satisfaction rating for Operations.

  • Work with other organizational units in establishing a clearly defined delineation of responsibilities, Operational Level Agreement, and promote a harmonious working environment.

  • Manage and maintain the knowledge and information relevant to Operations.

  • Promote a harmonious working environment such as demonstrating trust and respect and practicing open communication.

  • Comply with company policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures.

  • Professionally represent Trends management; enriching client relationships and providing expertise, composure, and competence.

  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by the Head

Client Services Management (Internal and Client)

  • Ensure timeliness of reports and presentations submitted to existing Service Clients.

  • Collaborate with Account Managers and/or Service Delivery Managers on the fulfillment of requirements for milestone payments.

  • Collaborate with Business Development Management team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

  • Provide business analysis and insights on the report submitted to the Service Clients.

  • Ensures compliance of Service Level Agreements with clients.

  • Negotiates with other stakeholders so that Service Level Agreements with clients are met.

  • Coordinate with outside groups to manage the performance of people in Internal Support, guaranteeing it is appropriate for the agreed client service level targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or related courses
  • Should have management experience in a Network Operations Center
  • ITIL certification is a must
  • Cisco, Fortinet, and/or Palo Alto Certification is preferred
