Job description

Pointwest is looking for a driven and tech-savvy Technical Recruiter to join our Shared Services Group.

In this role, you'll work closely with hiring managers and technical leads to attract, assess, and onboard top-tier IT talent.

You'll play a key role in supporting our business growth while upholding our culture of Agility, Accountability, Innovation, Collaboration, and Customer Centricity, and living out our core values of Leadership, Excellence, and Innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define role requirements and recruitment strategies.

  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events.

  • Screen applicants for technical expertise, cultural fit, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication throughout the process.

  • Build a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.

  • Promote employer branding through social media, events, and campaigns.

  • Stay updated on industry hiring trends, tools, and best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.

  • Timely and quality hires that meet technical and cultural fit.

  • High candidate and hiring manager satisfaction.

  • A strong, proactive pipeline of tech talent.

  • Continuous improvement in recruitment tools, strategies, and metrics.

  • Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Experience: Prior experience as a Technical Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist in IT or outsourcing industries.

  • Skills:

    Excellent verbal and written communication

    Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

    Proficient in ATS and sourcing tools

    Strong understanding of software development and technical roles

  • Nice to Have: HR or recruitment certifications.
